50–75 students will be chosen for participation in design automation summer school (DASS). Students in their third or later year of graduate study are eligible to apply. Applicants must be committed to pursue a Ph.D. in design automation of electronic systems and must be in good academic standing at their institutions. Financial support (travel, lodging, and meals) will generally be provided to students admitted to DASS. Additionally, 10 seats will be reserved for industrial participants who are ACM/SIGDA members and are currently unemployed or between jobs. Each applicant will be required to prepare a one-page statement
