Biographical Summary

Xi Chen is a fourth-year Ph.D. student at the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department of the University of Michigan. He received his M.S. degree from Northwestern University in 2008 and his B.S. degree from Tsinghua University in 2006. His research interests include power and energy optimization techniques in server, blade server, and large-scale data center environments, performance-oriented architectural optimizations, user-driven power management, and embedded systems.
